Anyone at this tonight? Crackin gig!! No doubt you'll hear alot more about this guy in the future, excellent guitarist, have seen him a few times and would certainly put him on a par with Clapton, Beck and co. Hopefully he'll play a better venue next time round!

unbelievable gig... the guys energy on stage is amazing, a real contrast from Clapton a few weeks back!! ...but I guess there's about 30 years difference

For anyone who loves rock, blues, and amazing guitar Joe Bonamassa is playing tonight in Vicar Street. I saw his gig in Belfast at the weekend and it was stunning. I enjoyed it so much I will be off to Vicar street tonight.

I was just about to post a thread myself. I can't wait!! This video shows how good he is. Was the cork gig last night or tomorow?

Cork is tomorrow, I've got my ticket in a prominent place ready to go. I reckon it will be a great gig.

What an amazing gig, but no less than I expected from Joe having seen him several times before. Not only is he a fantastic guitarist but a great showman backed up by a really tight band. Sandi Thom's set at the start was the icing on the cake. I have never before seen a support act receive a standing ovation. I was on a high after the gig and floated out of the venue still humming "Just got Paid".

From his comments about the Village gig it looks like Joe has finally taken to Ireland and hopefully we'll see him back again soon. I managed to meet him after a gig in Berlin in 2008 and badgered him about coming to Dublin. Am I ever glad I did?!
