Just thought I would put up some photos of my CZ style 22lr and a couple of targets from last weekend at the Midlands range.
The rifle is a CZ style 22lr with a SAK mod fitted. Harris 6"-9" Bi-pod, Brooks trigger kit fitted. Scope is a Nikko Nighteater 8-32x60 AG IR. I got the rifle in May and I'm just realy only getting used to using it now. A good little gun.

These targets are 3" with a 1" inner ring and 1/2" black centre with a 1/4" white bull, 10 shot groups. I'm getting better now. When a first got the gun the best I could get was 3" groups (Remington ammo), but getting 10 shot 1" groups now. Well pleased with that. Using Lapua Club ammo in the tubs. 50y range.

Tried out some High Velocity ammo here. All aimed the white centre 1/4" bulls-eye 10 shot groups.
Botton right is Federal Champion HV. Not the best, shots all over the place.
Bottom left is American Eagle HV groups are good don't mind the 2 stray's thats me.
Middle is CCI Stingers. Good grouping, 2 stray's me again, and look at how high above the bull they group. Thats an extra 3 1/2" - 4" of range.

I got 500 Remington subs when I bought the gun from Duffy's. I was so disapointed with my new CZ Style then. 3" groups @50m and I could get/do no better. But changed ammo to Lapua Club subs and Eley target subs all around €38-€40 /500. Big smile on my face now, groups are good and the rabbits are in the pot :)
I must try to source those CCI Stingers and American Eagle HV's I only had half a box of each to try out, range looks well good with those.

Nice one, CZs are great pieces of kit for the money.

Good work there clive, its always fun to find the ammo which your set up likes best. Can be frustrating at times but you seem to have cracked it.

Decent looking land in the background, looks nice to have a stroll around

Hi Vegeta. A lot of it will go when the new N/M9 Dublin - Waterford comes through here. That's where the photos were taken, off one of thier posts, in fact it's all bull-dosed up now and gone.
The rabbits are hard enough to find around the permissions I have here in Kilkenny. But there's plently of foxes to lamp, when the son can hit them with his CZ 223 :rolleyes::rolleyes: lol.

    .

Ahh that's a shame. We've lost a lot of land to development down here too. Eventually the country will be one big car park.

    Ditto.....

M3 is splitting a lot of my stomping ground right up the middle. Even a little duck flighting pond just outside Kells is now a motorway!
