    Hi,

Just wondering does anyone know if it's possible to purchase a timer for the immersion, we have an awful habit of leaving the immersion on for hours when we only want it on for an hour or so for hot water..waste of electricity

    Thanks
    GN

its not as much of a waste as you think - once the tank is hot it doesn't take too much energy to keep it hot (assuming its well insulated).

There are some who advocate leaving your immersion on permanently (not sure that this is a great idea though).

What you might be looking for is one of these....

APT flash timer for immersion or similar appliance

Now, the only problem is that you need an electrician to hook one of these up...It's not a typical DIY job.
