Does anyone know a email client / program that will allow me to bring various accounts together into one program and that will let me seperate incoming emails into folders depending on the sender.

    Does Thunderzilla do this?

If anyone could recommend me a program it would be most appreciated.

Its Thunderbird, and I'm going to say yes. Technically Gmail is capable of this already: you just set up the accounts for POP3 and have all the accounts direct their mail to the one; which can send replies out through all the others.

Right just installing it, its seems more complicated then I thought.

I have two gmail accounts, a hotmail account, a live account and a University email account.

Does thunderbird support hotmail and will it support my university account.

And where do I find the addresses of the ingoing and outgoing servers, afraid I'm not clued in on email servers.

Thunderbird has the settings for gmail already. It will work with hotmail (you should be able to find the settings on their website. Don't know if it'll work with your uni account.

Thunderbird does not support free hotmail natively, but here is a way around it. Paid hotmail is fine tho.

I did as it said but i get the following error when I attempt to get my hotmail emails.
Sending password did not succeed, Mail server localhost responded: NETWORK ERROR

What do I do to fix this?

I had setup my two gmail accounts before this fine.

I use Spybot SD Resident so I'm sure if this is stopping FreePOPs from accessing the internet, thought I allowed it to....

I'm also using a gmail outbound server, do I have to add another one?

    Thanks

    Last line of the guide:
To add a new outgoing mail server — you cannot send mail through FreePOPs, but you could use another free email account's, say Gmail's or AIM Mail's — go to the Outgoing Server (SMTP) category and click Add....

Basically, just either use your ISP's smtp server or try the gmail one, smtp.gmail.com (use authentication & SSL)

    MS Outlook or thunderbird.

Create some rules to stick the mails based on sender email into such and such a folder.

Do I need to have more den one outgoing server set up?
I have one already for my gmail accounts which works fine for them.

Do I have to have a seperate one for my hotmail account?

Then to get my university email account into Thunderbird, couldn't I forward them to one of my gmail accounts and den they'll come into thunderbird?

Also how do I go about making rules or where do I find this option in Thunderbird?

For each email account your going to have to set an outgoing server, it can be the same gmail server for the hotmail, but it must be set in each account.

I'm using FreePOPs at the moment. Does that make a difference. I'll try and figure it out when I get home. thanks I'll let you know how it goes.
