First time going to this cinema. Went to see Les Femmes de l'ombre. Why they translated this as "Female Agents" is beyond me - that title sucks. The french translates as Women of the Shadows, which sounds better. Good movie if a little confusing at times...

Anyway, Smithfield is quite a long way down there isn't it! Very plush cinema without the usual teenage messers. I was quite impressed. They have a nice little coffee/cake bar area and the stairs and halls are very fancy (although part of me screams "waste of space!"... The theatres themselves are very nice. Well worth a visit just to see the place...

The only criticism I have is of the toilets. Noone seems to do toilets right (why have entrance doors for example?). The top floor one is bizarrely male/female shared, which elicits a certain dismay from everyone who goes in. Well, the women anyway. The bottom floor one is impossible to find and the entrance door is, well, icky (recessed pull handle on exit which to my delicate sensibilities is unhygenic).

The toilets are spotless though and everything is maintained very well...
