    Remote control light switches and a Harmony to ensure you don't even have to change device to operate them?

    These can indeed replace normal light switches. I've had one of these installed from these guys - was living in the UK at the time, not sure if they deliver to Ireland, but their service was fast. Discounts on when you buy 3 or more, although not massive.
    Remote is cheapy and plastic but you can't complain for £4.75 really.

    Can't use these with CFL bulbs (same with any dimmer switch).

    I can highly recommend one of these for the lazy man in you!. :)
