    What qualification do you need to become a lecturer. Do you need a PHD. My area is in Online Marketing/Advertising and Business Leadership/Management

    It depends where you want to lecture. In a university you'd need a PhD but the ITs or private colleges might be more flexible.

    Part-time lecturers just need a degree.

    Whole time lecturers usually need a PHD, even the ITs are requiring this now.
