    Ive just completed my first year in Maynooth, however I need to defer my course for next year.

    how do I go about this??

    I believe its the Academic Advisory Office you should contact http://academicadvisory.nuim.ie/. I could be wrong on that and someone correct me if I am.

    I am sure of the circumstances of which you can defer or not, but they should tell you.

    Not sure you need to contact the advisory office but they'll definitely give you some advice. Think you can just defer through the registry.
