    Hi,

Just wondering has anyone else experienced this, Since about 10 days ago channel 4, E4 and Discovery have gone completely on my NTL cable(North Dublin)

All I get now is a blank screen, all other channels are working fine

    Thanks

Press 'help' and the yellow button or unplug the box (and plug it back in).

This fixes nearly everything. UPC are offering better boxes now, I'd call them to get a free replacement.

    Sorry,

I mean on my the NTL cable(as in piped into the house). Not using the box, just directly from wall socket to televison

Sounds like Band 1 has been dropped. Do you know if the cable service in your area has been recently upgraded to include broadband? If so, try re-tuning for those channels in the lower UHF Band.

As Bazzer said, retune your TV, that should pick them up on a higher frequency. :)

    Thanks guys

I'll give it a go. I think I remember hearing something about upgrades and broadband not too long ago.
