Can anyone tell me if they know of a good (free, i hope)converter program that will convert from pdf to word and vice versa?? Cheers

PDFCreator will convert from Word to PDF, and it's free.

The only program I've found which will do the opposite reliably is Adobe Acrobat. Which costs about €600.

also freepdf. but only any doc type to PDF

cutepdf is free, lets you print any document to a pdf file

doing pdf to word, depends on the particular document and the security, if theres no security you can normally just highlight the text or select it all with ctrl+A, then copy it and then paste it into a word document

Also, Open Office allows you to save as PDF, though probably a bit extreme installing another office suite unless you use Open Office already
