    Hi,
Just wondering if any other city folk have dined in Jacobs Ladder recently? If so, I'd love to hear any feedback or views on the place. I'm organising a night out for 4 overseas visitors in a week or so and hoping to bring them to somewhere really nice to eat. Modern Irish cuisine type of place....

Alternatively, if somebody can think of anywhere else they'd really recommend, that'd be cool too!

so far have come up with the following

bridge bar and grill - limited menu?
one pico - excellent but on expensive side
cafe bar deli - nice, but a bit plain more of a casual pizza/pasta place
    Fitzers - still a possibility
    Jacobs ladder - ??? help! ???
winding stair - mixed reviews recently

any help/views/suggestions would be gratefully received. For some of them it's their first visit to Dublin and I want to really give them a good night out....

    ta.
