Does anyone know if we can get this on sky digital or elsewhere???Any info would be great.Its going to be some event and it would be a shame if they didnt show it in the UK and Ireland!!!

There's no plans for it to be shown here as far as I know. The Fight Network is airing some of it in Canada so they may show the same over here, but nothing's been announced that I've heard and if they do show something it probably won't be live

Whats the story behind Afflication:Banned(apart from generating massice amounts of money)

Will it just be the UFC guys who are not incontract that will be fighting?

Or do the UFC guys have contracts...although I'm sure Dana has them locked down pretty welll......

Fighters who have contracts with the UFC are not allowed fight anywhere outside of the UFC

There are guys on Affliction who have fought for UFC in the past, but they no longer have contracts with them. Guys like Tim Sylvia, Josh Barnett, Andrei Arlovski, Matt Lindland and Vitor Belfort (there's a few others too, I just can't remember them off the top of my head)

There's also some good fighters on Affliction's show who have never fought for the UFC, mainly Fedor Emelianenko. The UFC went all out in trying to sign him last year as he is seen as the best fighter in the world, but they couldn't agree on a contract

- Big John and Quadros commentating/interviewing
- Pride style entrances
- 6oz gloves
- And now its on TV which means not having to watch some fuzzy
streamed version on the internet.

Knockouts are harder to get with heavier gloves. But if you hit someone hard enough I don't know how much difference the one or two ounces really make
