How to Improve Zombie Survival

This forum has been somewhat dead lately (bada-bum-tish) with the online game sticky getting most of the attention. So here's my question: how can we improve the zombie survival and maybe get more people participating?

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

It's a bit drastic but we could try and create a zombifying virus, the place would certainly be a hub of activity then... :pac:

Tbh Boney, I think leave it the way it is for the moment, it's a new forum, so it's gonna have its ups and downs. Other than that, zombie movie review threads etc, might help.

Let take its own shape for the moment.

Besides... The forum'll be full of people asking questions on Z day.

I suppose you could argue that for our survival we need the zombie survival forum but in order for the zombie survival forum to survive we need to create zombies. Therefore in order to insure the survival of the human race we need zomibies. Who would have thunk it.

I was thinking of perhaps creating some sort of tournament with the Urban Dead game, if anyone thinks that could be possible? I haven't really played it myself so I'm not entirely sure.

It might be possible, but we'd all have to level up a bit I reckon.

For what it's worth, I think the forum is going well, I know it's quiet, but it's one of the few forums on my Sub list outside of what I moderate.

Think that might risk us being tried for warcrimes and such....
Would a zombie flash-mob suffice?

you could do a tournament easy.

all start new charecters on a set date. send they screen pic to the forum to prove this then have set time limit like a month. and see who has most xp points/ skills.

it has become quite dead i think it has nearly burnt out. weapon of choice and vehicles and hiding spots were fore runners but i think we have covered all possible good ideas.

maybe we could improve the zombie survival guide. as in post a topic from the guide and see what improvements we can make?

One possibility I also had is for people to come up with their own survival plans for their city/town/village. Might be quite interesting.

I think to stop one or two threads having 8 or 9 pages of posts and to try promote the growth of the forum we could try being more specific, like instead of having a 'Zombie movie' thread make each thread individual to a specific film or comparison of films. Talk about it until it runs dry and try not stray of topic then start a new thread about a different film.I think if you make a thread as wide open as 'zombie movies' it'll just get alot of repeat posts from people who didn't read all the replies.
This goes for all aspects of the forum from films to survival plans to vehicals, i think it could benefit.

Maybe some sort of fresh start is needed, even if it means talkin about some of the same stuff again. we could try be more specific with our threads and where they go. I'm not saying don't let conversation take its course but don't stray into a topic that could be another thread!?!
