Vietnam 9-15 DAY Tours

    Hi all,

My girlfriend and I are ending a little bit of travel in Vietnam. We have just over 2 weeks to spend in Vietnam and ideally we would like to see some of the main highlights and then spend 5-odd days just relaxing on a beach some place before returning home.
My current thinking is that the best thing to do is to find one good tour that does all that - so if you have any recommendations, please let me know?
Another option could be to find our own way about or else do a 8/9 day tour of Vietnam and then visit a really nice beach place for some R&R.
Anyone have any ideas on any of these????

    Cheers

    Hey,
Personally. i'd advise against bookinmg one big package as this will ruin your chance for spontaneous decision making. I went to Hanoi for a week and went to Sapa (on the China border) and did a trek for 2 days (definitely recommended). I also did a 2 night boat tour on Halong bay (very nice). i'd say I paid about 60 euro each for both activities...
I know there are alot of nice beaches down in South nam but thats it...
