Minimum Flu Length For Stove?

Hopefully this is the right forum......

I'm close to getting an extension built which comprises knocking the garage and extending the kitchen. I'm thinking of getting a stove (solid fuel - no boiler) for the new kitchen area but as the extension is only single storey, I'm wondering if this would pose a problem to the stove's flu length.

    Any comments?
