Just had two lessons with Brendan McDaid at the Spawell near Tallagh and found him to be really very good.

I thought he was the main pro at Rathsallagh, is he doing lessons in Spawell now? Supposed to have a good reputation alright.

Regarding the OP's question, the west of Ireland is a vast place so better to limit the search to a particular county or town especially if getting a series of 6 to 8 lessons. You want to keep travel time to a minimum and plenty of good pros around to give lessons.

He's up in the Spawell full time now. He's been there every evening I've been there over last month.

And the OP started the thread 4 yrs ago so he should be sorted ;)
    (Someone just bumped the thread)
