    Ticketmaster says
    LEINSTER SFC
    FINAL
    DUBLIN V WEXFORD 4.00PM
    LMFC FINAL 2.15PM
    CROKE PARK
    SUN 20-JUL-2008

What you are seeing is the minor game throw in time.

    FYI

    ticketmaster.ie currently has:

    Upper Davin Stand
Upper Cusack 714 (in the corner beside the Davin)
Upper Hogan 725 (in the corner also beside the Davin)

    Minor 2.15.
Senior set for 4...chances are it will be at 4.15 at earliest. 40/50,000 ppl still outside at 4.05...woah what a shock!!
Just start it without them & they'll soon cop on.

Yes. The GAA should make an announcement that the game will throw in at 4:00 sharp no matter what. Anyone not yet in the stadium, well too bad.

They should have just printed the start time for the minor game and then printed "followed by Dublin V Wexford"

Let them guess, or even better still - more might turn up to cheer on the minors.

There were no Dublin games delayed last year, dunno why they reverted to the 15 minute delay again this year. Well over 90% were in by 2pm for the Westmeath game.

Yep, definately. I saw a pic in the paper last week that showed the Hill "5 minutes before throw in" with about 10 people standing on it! That was bull****, we were in the Lower Hogan at 1:45 and the Hill looked Jammers!

I noticed the tickets for the Leinster Final are €35 euro. A rise of €10 from the last round. Don't think this happened last year, tickets only went up for AI semis and Final.

They were €35 for last years final as well. Which I really dont mind paying one bit. Galway are playing Mayo in Mc Hale Park on Sunday and stand tickets are €35, now that takes the biscuit...

The official line is safety. If there are too many outside for throw in the crowd will panic and it becomes dangerous. Im a dub in Galway and it certainly is not just an issue with the dubs. I was at a Galway match 2 years ago and the fans broke down a gate to get in for the start

I remember that! My boss is on the Connaught Council, he said they had to let mountains of people in for free! :D

Now, now Anita. You wouldn't be trying to give a Dubs fan a bum steer just so you could buy his tickets at cost price and then tout them, would you?
