Just a quick question on this. I've been sending a friend of mine sms messages from the o2 website. While it costs nothing for me is there a charge for him to receive them as he is in California right now? Thanks

if he has an irish sim card then no. if he's using an american network at least some of them charge to receive a text. i don't know if they all do

so if his number starts with +353, no. if it starts with +1, maybe
