Sun holiday for one - any ideas

    Afternoon all,
    I am a single male early 30's and looking for a recomendation for a chill out sun holiday for a week. Not looking for anything too mad but not overly family either. Hoping to go next weekend/early folloiwng week.
    Any ideas for somewhere nice, safe etc would be most welcome

    Op it's a bit off the beaten track but I'd recommend Coruna in northwest Spain home of Deportivo. Great beach and surfing if your into it. Some historical stuff. Great marina and shopping and great food.

    Also a whole lot of irish bars for some reason:eek:

    I'd guess Santiago de Compostela is the nearest airport. I'd recommend staying there a night or two before going on to La Coruna, Santiago is really pretty.

    Edited to add that if you're really looking for sun it mightn't be the best spot. I was there in July a few years ago and we got lashed out of it!
