Hi, Am interested in getting started in target shooting. Have spent a lot of time reading most of the threads and know I need to get into a club. Is it a case of you need to know someone to get you into the club or can you just become a brand new member. Any extra advice as well would be great. I live in wicklow.

Generally any club will be happy to have new members. If you're in Wicklow, you have a number to choose from, and there's a list on the boards.ie wiki here.
