Volinteering for crew of boats for races at sail clubs usualy works also and costs nothing but you need to have bought your own wet gear and life kacket and boots

Some sailing scools in dublin region clontarf dunlaighre and malahide exist also on the net with searches

I assume sailing schools are to be found in most big towns like cork galway and even small town like wexford or even dingle ( an dangain )

fishing shops everywhere you go and fishing boats to hire everywhere
