Architect Recommendations

    I have a house the same as this - http://images2.daft.ie/sale/190000/193798/rear_property(300x400).jpeg

    I would like to extend the left hand side (dining room) out to the same level as the kitchen on the right and take down the wall between the two inside. So, I'm looking for an architect to recommend what's best and to draw up some plans.

    Can anyone recommend an architect ?

    I might try and piggy back onto this thread instead of starting one of my own. I'm on Offaly and have done up my own plans as I'm a CADtechnician. I've a reasonably good knowledge of both the building trade and also the building regs (and indeed the differences between both). What I'm looking for is an architect/Arch Tech who anyone can recommend that might look at my drawings and point out faults or places in need of improvement, and then present his rendition of the same house. I'm happy with the design/layout and think its appropriate to the area, but I'd just like to get a professional opinion on that too.

    Any recommendations??
    Any idea how much I should expect to be charged for this??
