Sky Remote problem

Hi I changed one of my TVs recently and changed the code for my remote so it would operate the TV (Changed from Beko to Philips). When I go through the steps and enter the new code the Sky remote works the TV initially but once I press Sky on the remote it no longer then works the TV. I have to keep entering the code to…

I have to keep entering the code to get it to work the TV. (don't have a seperate remote for the TV at the moment)
Any ideas of what the problem is or how to get it to store the info?

after your entering the philips code and its turning off tv working volume etc.. are you pressing and holding the select key untill the red led blinks twice?
