    Can anyone tell me how long it takes dell to deliver from online order to your door?

    When my friend ordered a monitor, he ordered it on a friday eevening, and got it the next wednesday lunch time. HE does live in dublin so mabe longer for rural areas

    I ordered a lappy on Wednesday at 4pm, and the delivery guys had been to my house Friday morning - I picked up Friday evening. This was a Friday in the same week as the Wednesday I mentioned earlier.

    The length of time they take to build the system varies depending on what you order.
    For the actual delivery, once the order status page says despatched, you'll have it in 2 working days.

    I ordered mine on a Tue night around 11.30 ish and got it delivered on Thur the same week and i live in Meath, couldn't believe how quick it was !

    twice i've ordered from them. first time it took 2 months!! (don't ask, there were a few angry phone calls. a cock up here and there but what can ya do).

    second time I ordered through the ould fella's business and it arrived around 4 days later...

    so i suppose it could go either way...i imagine that they're good enough usually though...
