I have been in that so called Kebak place on oliver plunkett st and I have to say it was the Worst Kebab I ever had. The chips were Manky too.

Lennoxs on Bandon Rd do a Good Chipper
Hil Billys for chicken - nay time of day :)
And Indian Moon on Georges Quay do a great Kebab.
Not Aberakebra style but more a fresh nan bread rolled up with kebab meat and goodies inside. Proper Tasty :D

What was wrong with it? Haven't seen the place myself.

they got our order wrong and didn;t want to change the burger for the chicken burger ordered. I ordered a €4.00 spring roll and it was about half the size of a mini one you get at those buffet selections, curry sauce was full of lumps of flour. The manager talked to us for the full 30 min we were there trying to get us to buy more food..... It was all a bit monty python.

I got a fantastic bag of chips from a place on Shandon Street, can't remember the name.

It was pissing rain and I had to walk from the Neptune to the train station - chips are a good way to cheer yourself up when you're you're miserable! :)

I've only had Lennox's once - nyom nyom! Will go back if I get a chance

    Lennox's

Lennnox's on the Bandon Road are still the best but as chippers go they ain't all consistent and you really have to go to places a few times to get a proper view of the food.

I love KC's stuff too, especially the cheeseburger as their meat is good...a bit of a gourmet chipper!

The chicken maryland in The Golden Fry is something special though!

I think KCs has gone to shi!t over the last few years.
Maybe my taste has changed or it the fact that the really outgoing guy with the glasses no longer works there but most times I go I'm not satisfied and often feel like sh!t after it. way too greasy. And they changed the cheese a year or two ago which made me sad :(
A king Dino is nice, with a 3 in 1 from the mandarin.
