PS3 Blu Ray not displaying picture

Just after trying to watch a Blu Ray on my PS3 and after trying 12 different discs I got the same problem with each. It loads the disc till just before the main menu, from where on there's no picture but the sound remains.

Normal DVD's and games all work fine. Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution?

Try resetting the display settings. Hold down the power button for a few seconds after turning it on. Only thing I can think of, hope it helps.

You're trying to play film at 1080p/24Hz which your TV doesn't support?

Tried that earlier and nothing. Played around with the settings but still nothing.

    Hmm dunno.
Change display settings from automatic to custom and select on 720p and see what happens.

Got it sorted. Had to play around with the TV settings and as I was about to throw the remote at the TV up popped a field full of Buramese being shot in Rambo. Cheers for the help lads.
