Got out Cloverfield on DVD this evening. Didn't know much about it beforehand except that I've heard it advertised quite a bit. I was disappointed in the film. I usually like sci-fi/monster movies but did not like it at all. The best bit of the film was I'd give it a 4.5/10.

I was disappointed in the film. I usually like sci-fi/monster movies but did not like it at all.

The best bit of the film was
when the guy with the DVD recorder got killed. He annoyed the hell out of me.

I'd give it a 4.5/10.

I thought it was quite well shot. Tbh I think the movie would've been better if the monster remained a mystery. The unkown is by far scarier than anything else

I also loved it though I may have gone over board in my initial gushings, I still think it's one of the finest films of the year and one of the top ten of the 21st centuary.

Brilliant movie. Very original, and technically well made also. If the Mist (Going to see it tonight ) tops it I'll be inpressed!
