Just finished "The Deportees" by Roddy Doyle. Anyone read it? Opinions? It is a collection of short stories following various characters and their experiences coming to Ireland from various counties e.g. Nigeria, Poland, etc. The writing and plot are pretty simplistic. I got a few laughs from the book.
