    Alright guys i'm looking to buy this phone (vodafone network) off my brother but i need to get it unlocked anybody no where i could get this done ?? ALso if i debrand it does that mean i can use my meteor sim in it ??


    Any help be appreciated

    unlocking the phone enables you to put any sim into the phone. de branding it will take the vodafone themes/startup screens off the phone.

    cheers for clarfying that about the debranding , now is there anybody who can help me getting it unlocked ?

    Is your brother on billpay? If he is then he can request the unlock off Vodafone via their website or over the phone.

    Is he on prepay having spent more than €130 in credit? See above.

    ya mate he is on bill pay and rang vodafone the other day and they were telling him he needed to be on the network a certain time or some crap like that ? Are you able to get the code online ?

    If he logs into the Vodafone website he can request the code online. The website generally uses the same criteria as the customer care agents though.

    As he's on a contract he should be able to get the unlock code anyway because he's in a contract. Ask him to ring again and see if he gets someone else.

    cheers mate worked out a charm , all unlocked now brilliant , saved me about 50 quid going into a place to get it unlocked :D:D
