im not asking for specific advice so please please dont close me down mr moderator

i have a general enquirree , is it unusual for someone to be sore ( albeit less so ) 9 mths after a rib fracture
is it also unusual for stomach upsets to develop out of a chest injury , ie , not being sure whethere one,s pain is stemming from the stomach or the chest and finally if one is thinking of asking to be put on a list for a nerve block or pain injection , is this procedure usually only reserved for those with chronic pain for whoom conventional painkillers are not sufficent , could you tell a consultant , you wanted to try out a nerve block rather than wait another 6 mths to be completly free of any kind of discomfort

hope im not being out of order here and hope im not deemed to have requested free advice
i realise it might be ok to ask the mechanics in the motoring section for advice but i realise that its a different style in here

    thanks

I am not a medic and this is NOT medical advice.

I know from sports experience that rib fractures can be more serious than one might imagine and should not be underestimated in terms of what they can do sometimes.

With respect I think that you may be racing too far ahead with your proposed treatments for yourself.

GO AND SEE YOUR DOCTOR AGAIN IF YOUR SYMPTOMS ARE NOT RESOLVING.

Get it all checked out - for a second time if required - and put your mind at ease.
