Don't forget that the Ladies Irish Open is on next weekend also at Portmarnock Links (new course).

The first 3,000 people to show their AIB bank cards get free admission each day also.

It's a great course and should be great spectating!!!

Yes, it is also 50% off with a GUI card.

The first tee times are 7am on Friday and Saturday and I think it is 8am on Sunday...

That Pettersen girl is brilliant! Her chipping onto the green is impecaable. The irish channels should be ashamed of themselves for not showing more footage of it during the day coz there is some truly brilliant golf happening in Portmarnock.

Fantastic Event with some great golf.

Played in the pro-am and these girls can really play.

Watched the Morgan Pressel, Claire Coughlan Ryan match yesterday and there was some sweet golf -Coughlan chipped in for eagle on the par 2nd, Pressel knocked in three birdies in a row and left a chip for eagle on the lip.

And as for Petterson - just superb, deserved to win though Skarpnord put up a brave challenge!

Thought the Farmer's Market was a great idea and the whole venue excellent and compact. Only downside was public parking was too far but the Portmarnock beach car park is next to hotel and managed to get in there each day!

All in all a success for the organisers I would think.

Agree. Great event and was very impressed by the play I saw. I watched Pressel and Coughlan's back nine. Pressel was fantastic I thought. Excellent all-round game. She had a great up-and-down on 17 and bogey free 66 for the day. Didn't see much of Pettersen except her 18th. Pity there was so much sport on yesterday because it barely got a mention on RTE.
