    Watching that last choir standing last night on tv... great show alot of intersting styles and groups are in the competition . http://www.bbc.co.uk/lastchoirstanding/


    Tell me is there anything like this in munster ..? good choir groups which meet up once a week and blow off some steam >?

    If so where do they meet whats the choir called and is their a specific age group and style they cater for ...

    Some group in moyross but it`s only with mass on sundays i`ve heard .

    there is the Limerick Choral Union if that is what you are looking for... http://www.thelcu.com/Default.aspx
    Limerick university also has its own choir... not sure but i think they might be all students and staff though...

    If you want to find out what choirs are in your area check out www.cnc.ie .
    In the membership page (scroll down)you can click by region what choirs are in the area...
    their website is a bit 'under construction' sometimes so you might be better off ringing their cork office 0214312296 or email info@cnc.ie their pretty helpful in that regard.

    Go for it ..the singing is the easy part.. the hardest part is turning up the first night.
