    Hello All ,
I was recently shooting a tropy ceremony at a road racing event the price was fixed for that and that has all been sorted out while i was speaking to the race secretary she said she might be interested in racing photos for the website these are literally going to be like 40-50 kb in size and smaller than 640x480.NOw i got this job really as luck and i had no portfolio to show and she was only going by a local press photographers word on me.Now i don't want to scare the life out of this person but what is a good/reasonable price to charge?
Afaik these will only be used on the site.

    Thanks all :D

Since you've already been paid for the work, you should be reasonable about what you charge for web images. Remember, if someone sees the pictures & wants a copy, you could get additional business.

Depending on how many images you're talking about, I'd charge between €50 & €80.
You're probably going to get a multitude of opinions on here though.

Is that each image or a set?
    This is the site
I'll only be filling them gaps at the most any idea on a price for each image i was thinking €10-€12 a pic at the most!

Unless they are doing a major site update it'll only be 2-3 pics they'll need

The price I mentioned was a total.
I think you should charge no more than €50, if it's just 3 images.

I would maybe take a different approach. Why not let them use the photo's on their website in exchange for a section promoting the fact that you will provide high resolution images & prints (for a price) You are more likely to get on-going work from them that way.

speculate to accumulate....agree with cabansail.....far far better IMO to get promotion from their site...you won't make any decent money from selling a few gif files but may get extra business through promoting

But their is alot of photographers fdoing this with way better equipment than me and much better photos.I can only get to this race once a year so them advertising saying "i sell high quaility photos" won't be very good cos it'll only be of one race!

The point is getting orders of prints up, not getting work,

say you have a pic of a certian racer,
he goes on to win, and sees the pic on the site,
he contacts you for a large print.
