Where and when would you like to see this fight happen? Personally I would like it on Halloween night in Dublin as is being mentioned. The atmosphere would simply be amazing, and unlike Las Vegas or New York I would actually be able to go.

This will be a voluntary defence for Phillips and as such his team will have a big say on the location . He never had a problem with travelling in the past but I reckon since he's champion now he won't want to go further than New York, where Duddy can still bring a lot of money .

New York is very very likely to be the location, outside of that maybe New Jersey, Vegas(on the undercard of a bigger bout) and a small chance of Dublin .
If Duddy wins however expect a defence in Ireland .

according to irish ropes if the american tv companies cant fit the fight into their schedule (showtime etc.) then sky will likely get it who are said to be keen on Dublin. I never knew tv had such an impact on location.

    against Moore?

    against Moore?

Moore has to beat Baysangurov first and as much as I rate and am a fan of Jamie Moore, my money will be on the half Russian, half Ukranian .

But should Moore beat Baysangurov, and while tough that is far from an impossible scenario and Duddy beats Phillips , I would indeed fancy a Duddy v Moore fight to happen in Ireland . Most likely in Dublin at the redeveloped Point Depot which will be able to cater for 15,000 people .

I just can't see both of them coming through though, even though I favour Duddy that fight will be far from a certainty .

Apparently Irish ropes are looking at WBA 154 champ Joachim Alcine either as they want the best chance of Duddy winning a world title at the best price. He's filling in for Jim Rock as commentator tommorrow night in the stadium so will be interesting to hear what he has to say.
Alcine is defending his belt tonight against Daniel Santos

    Santos won, can't say I'm surprised he's a very underated fighter .
