    Hi Lads,
The father in law got sky + fitted and the installer used triax twin cable.

I have never seen this before,is it any good?

Cable size is small, slightly bigger than normal single core.

Also,he got one of those eyes for changing the channels,do i need to turn on the power on the RF2 socket?I havent tried to install this yet.

    Regards,

    Kieran

The cable is only RG59 grade and is almost impossible to keep an f-connector on. Most sky installers use it to save them running a second cable but I have changed i twice for people so far as they were having problems..

    To turn on RF2 power,
    press services
    press 4
    then press 0,1 then select
access rf outlets by pressing 4
turn on rf power and hit save..
