    Hi Lads,
I picked up a aerial today in dwyers in cork and it had a brown tip but i was looking for the green tip c/d and the asistant said they were the same.
Is this a new color code?

    Is this true?

    Regards,

    Kieran

As far as I am aware the following is true!

    Group CD = Green - Channels 46 to 68
    Group E = Brown - Channels 39 to 68

I guess you are from Cork but I do not know what channels Spur Hill transmit on.

Edit: I got this info from Mike Brown's web site http://tx.mb21.co.uk/info/625/channel5/tvtxlist.shtml

See here for list of Irish transmitters:

    http://www.geocities.com/corkradio/tvch.html

    Spur Hill is UHF group C/D, horizontal polarisation. Channel numbers are RTE1 53, RTE2 57, TV3 60, TG4 63.

    A group C/D aerial goes from 48 to 68. A group E aerial (35 - 68) would also cover these frequencies.
