    Hi,

I'm looking to buy a battery for my digital camera. I found a compatible one on http://www.batterycity.ie.

It's cheap at €9.35 (camera shop was looking for €60!)

Has anyone used them before what are they like to deal with. How much is delivery? Ireland isn't listed, only UK for €4.90 or EU €8.90.I'd guess its the latter.

    Cheers,

    Duffman.

Haven't used Batterycity, but I used these people a couple of weeks ago. Took 3 days to arrive.

    £5 delivery

Despite the web name, they do all kinds of batteries/chargers etc

Pretty competitive pricing, the site looks awful at high resolution though!
I just bought off battery city(ie domain made it look Irish but the sales go through to some unknown eu place) so wil have to wait and see how that turns out.
Think i'd rather buy off the UK site tbh if i did it again at least there's a tangible business there.
That said if my fancy eneloop battries arrive this week i'll be singing batterycity.ie 's praises as their prices are the best out there (for eneloop battries).

FWIW - Duracell "Active charge" batteries - http://www.duracell.com/uk/products-list-cells.aspx , seem to be eneloops rebadged at twice the price (allegedly - Google it).

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

I know this is a fairly old thread, but I ask anyway. How did it turn out with batterycity? I am thinking of buying eneloops from them too. Or are there better/similarly priced shops?

I've used batterycity on several occasions, never any issues - they're based in Denmark
