Monty loses the rag.......again

    Anyone see his outburst today in the Euro Open? He totally overhit a tee-shot into a pond and as he was preparing for his 2nd shot...well actually 3rd cos he had to drop....he made a beeline for the nearest mobile cameraman on his cart thingy....shouted something to the effect of "....i know your only doing it cos its me...."
    It was the on-course Sky commentator Wayne "Radar" Riley that had me in stiches tho with comments like....
    "Hes got 120 yards to the pin, and I'm 160 yards away from him and I hope he cant hear me!"
    "He can bungee jump off his wallet, he lives in a mansion! Cheer Up!"
    "Hes acting like someone stole his chocolates" :D:D

    He could probably putt thru a tsunami, and yet a pin dropping a mile away will rise the man....cmon cranky colin, cheer up!

    was interesting when Poulter was interviewed afterward the face he made when asked about Montys antics was classic. Eventually he just said no comment. Funny moment since he has done similar himself but he certainly seemed to think Monty was a plank over this one. Went up in my estimation a bit.

    According to commentary it was Poulter who was put off for a few holes by all the messing aorund.

    Completely off topic, hadnt heard that name in yonks, but reminds me of the Irish Open 20ish years ago. Was in the Portmarnock clubhouse, Riley bursts in, exclaims to all/no one in paricular "I'm playing with Seve tomorrow!". And leaves.

    I must admit Riley annoyed me at first when sky began using his as on-course commentator but ive really warmed to him now, he adds humour to proceedings and an almost eamonn dunphy kind of way......ALMOST! :D

    Monty has been at this for the last few weeks now. It's a sure sign that he's back!

    I am normally a big fan of Monty but yesterday he went right down in my estimation...

    Coming out with a comment "you are only here because of me" shows pure ignorence towards the crowd, viewing public and all the other golfers...

    He forgets that TV is one of the major reasons he can live the way he does
