    Just pondering, ponderosa

Did fruit evolve independently across the various continents
or at different locations in Gondwana?
    or was there an ur-fruit?

if so, would it have been the sweetest fruit imaginable?

would it have been something like pomegranate?

Sherifu, you keep on bolding 'ban' when responding to my posts.

(links or gtfo minus a million never going to happen just not arsed)

is this part of a secret-public-vengeance campaign on your part.

are you working for the mods?

    You give me the pip.
You've started a pear of threads all about fruit.
You're not a-peel-ing to anyone here.

US scientists have said that the sugar, fructose, found in fruit such as apples and oranges can be converted into a new type of low-carbon fuel for cars. According to an article in the journal Nature, the fuel contains far more energy than ethanol. Another, British report on biofuels says all types of waste products, including plastic bags, can be used to make biodiesel fuel.

Maybe the OP is trying to push us to stick an apple into our cars with all this fruity talk.

    apple --> cider

Nothing beats a pint bottle of Bulmers with ice on a nice warm day... now that's evolution!

    I like turtles.

Not as sweet as fruit - low sugar content - plus they're a bitch to peel :pac:

OP, are you doing some sort of study? A study focusing on fruit perhaps? That's not this website's purpose, sherifu was merely giving you the hint.

You're not gonna get decent answers here anyway - as you can see.
