my neighbour is claiming a right of way on my property entrance, I have checked with the land registry and there is no right of way assigned to the property/entrance...do they ahve any rights?
they are claiming they have a right to drive onto my property to get to theirs based on a historical agreement between the 2 previous property owners, one is her father who she inherited the property from and the the other was the people I purchased the property from.
As there is no right of way on the land registry I errected a fence down the centre of the 2 properties (entirely on my side) and they are no requesting that we take it down as it only leaves them with space to walk onto their property not drive on to it...do they have any rights??
