Well now, some interesting news, if you own or can aquire Swap Magic 3.

Brilliant. And that song is class too i must get it. For now ill stick with the Xbox for emus but its good to see something happening.

Why does sony let them continue and sign their software for use on the System if its going to be exploited. We had something similar with the PS2 and xbox action replay.

Edit: Swap Magic seems to be for the PS2. So that leaves us 40gb owners out then.

Naww its only a Ps2 emu "hack", not really important. I was working under the assumption that PS3 linux had no access to the GPU, therefore i thought there was no working emulators or the like.

well low level access is required to display a picture, and it takes a fair bit less to drive a desktop environment than a 16 bit genesis rom

emulating the more modern consoles would be impossible without rsx afaik
