Satellite is only available using a sky box. Freesat boxes by their very nature do not accept viewing cards

    I think i just had a brainwave,

perhaps if i drop sky but keep the box hooked up and then just subscribe to Setanta. Silly me. And if i wnat to get free BBC HD i presume i can just link up an additional new Freesat HD box onto my existing skybox?

No you need at least one more cable from your dish and possibly a quad lnb if you do not already have one

Thanks Tony shor that should be not too much of a big deal to throw up.

Then no cable needed for freesat just use one of the existing feeds
