I'm thinking of getting into live poker after a successful spell on-line. However i dont want to rush in throwing my money away. I want to enter a couple of freeroll tourneys so i can get use to live condtions, proper rasing procedures etc.... IS there any around DUblin that are taking place?

not in dublin so dont know for sure, but in my experience, you'd be much better finding a low priced freezeout and playing there. the free-rolls are generally a rebuy and end up a lot pricier than many freezeouts, and encourage bad calls, raises and pushes.
a €25 freezeout is much more valuable to a learning player, as u can sit on ur stack and watch what goes on, without constantly getting pushed all in by people with higher bankrolls, and sh1te cards.

    What he said.

Check out Cool Hand Lukes tourny schedule, great club and very welcoming in my experience. Any of the €25 Double chances freezeouts would be good value as there's guaranteed prizepools and everything.

The Jackpot also runs a €20+€3 tournament on Thursdays, nice club too and it's a bit of craic.

The Fitz used to run freerolls on Saturday afternoons but they've since been binned afaik.

According to Flushdraw the SE have some freerolls in the pipeline but as zuroph said, you're best off just shelling out €25 or so and playing a decent structered tournament with a decent prizepool.
