Help eircom netopia 2247-02 !!!

I am looking to increase my Netopia 2247-02 signal but i am not exactly the wiz at networking etc. i wonder does antennas like

10 dBi 2.4GHz Wireless WIFI Booster Antenna WLAN RP-SMA

You are obviously prepared to spend a fair bit on this:D

Perhaps you could say what problems you are having with your wireless at the moment?
