Trexx & Flipside

This is a new series starting on BBC 3 this week. It looks absolutely terrible but Rich Fulcer is in it as the manager. There's a clip on the BBC 3 website and he is the only funny thing about it... could be worth watching for him alone... but somehow I doubt it.

Trexx and Flipside are wannabe hip hop stars but their music label - Wu Hah Records - is run by Mr Brilliance, who is more in tune with crooning than rap.

Fortunately, his so-called assistant, Ollie, knows what she is doing and loves the boys' work. But even she worries that their enthusiasm is doing more harm than good - when they crashed the British Rap Awards (Bras) in a borrowed strip limo shared with a hen party, for instance.

And, when it comes to using a little muscle, the hip hop world is inhabited by the uninhibited, and gangsta rapper B-Ice has sworn to keep the boys exactly where he put them - in the gutter. Pitted against their rap rivals and backed by a no-hoper of a manager, will Trexx and Flipside ever make it?

Saw the ad just after watching an episode of Boosh the other night (Journey to the centre of Punk).

Looks crap tbh... like you said, Rich was the only funny thing in the ad, along with Wonderwall :D

Don't think I'll be watching this one to be honest. Doesn't appeal to me at all, at all

    Yep. That was pretty horrible.

The acting was even worse than the acting in Two Pints of Larger and a Packet Crisps... I didn't think that was even possible.

Fulcher must have been able to improv some of his lines as there was still some of his usual random magic in there.
