    Hi Marble,
I was a spectator at the last shoot in Nurney. I got a very warm welcome and was offered food along with the shooters. I intend to Shoot this competition on Saturday, But its only because of the food!!!:p

Yes, but you have shot there before. I think marble was wondering if total newbies were welcome, which isn't quite the same thing and I've seen clubs in the past where it was preferred if total newbies did not show up for the very first time on a day when ROs were up to their tonsils in work and couldn't give them a proper tour of the place and look after them properly.

    Visitors are welcome, however.

    1) They must be either a member of a recognised club and can show proof of same or
    2) Are accompanied by a person taking part in he competition and as indicated in the post publicising the shoot, participants must be members of recognised clubs and have a certificate for the firearm they wish to use or
    3) Are a guest of an existing member or
    4) Has made prior arrangements to visit the club which has been approved by range management/club official

We expect it to be a very busy day and as such new people to the sport will not have much attention paid to them, our best advice, visit on a non competition day!
