SOme of the prices have gone up so might not be that great a bargain. But I guess it's worth looking through if you have somewhere in mind!

One August flight I was interested in went from a fare of 100 euro when I checked last week to 125 euro when the sale launched. I'm sure it's a coincidence that the 20% discount brings it back to last week's price.

I booked flights about 2 weeks ago. Now theres 90euro off them!
    Whats Aer Lingus' cancelation policy?

Nevermind, found it. Its a full charge so its not really worth it... at all!

Same as other posters, have been eying up flights to Holland for the past week or so, averaging out at €110 return....new prices are at around €130...also I'm only seeing a deduction of €10 NOT 20% (I've tried different dates/times but still no change).
As someone else said, marketing scam...at leats when ryanair do this, there's an actual saving to be made...

In fairness to AL, I was looking at flights to Bordeaux last week and they were 355, still the same price except now they are 309 after discount.

It might be appropriate in this thread, but we have bought two tickets at Ryanair.
Price of one ticket - tenner.
Total payment for two people and one luggage - 149 Euro

Savings are before taxes and charges, so it doesnt look like 20%.

Got this saving on flights I had looked at the night before, delighted :)
