    €169.40 + €9 delivery.

Some of it is a bit basic, but with a couple of small and cheap upgrades it would be pretty kickass.

What kind of upgrades would you make?

RAM and HDD mainly in my case. 512MB and 160GB aren't bad, but maybe a bit small. Mine will be a small home file and development server.

Be warned these are noisy feckers, a new rear and cpu fan is a must for them.

It seems as if Elara spotted the buzz about Dell's recent offer and jumped right on board; pardon the pun. Not bad for those who missed the Vostro 200 offer but not that great either.

I was thinking of hooking it up to my TV to play media files but doesnt sound like this one would be any use

They've been doing this deal on and off since march (though with a lower processor at one stage). The 3 year nbd warranty kicks dells ass though

I'd agree there, nothing better than more warranty for nothing with a PC. I'm generally quite happy with a 1 year warranty on most items, though I can understand why some people would like to have more assurance if something happens to go wrong.

the dell vostro 200 im typing on kicks this things @ss in so many ways, i'd say you could a better pc for the price tbh on dabs or the like

The vostro 200 mt is a damn good machine for it's price, but for the money, and for it's purpose this machine will kick the vostro's ass as a soho server. Plus it has the benefit of 3 years onsite next business day warranty.

For a home machine though the Vostro all the way.

    It's all horses for courses.

Oh and FYI for anyone thinking of purchasing this, the ML115 server does not have a sound card built in.

hey stupid question but do these have any operating system on them? and are they any good at all? they are awful cheap like

    No OS on these machines.

As for are they any good, well it depends what you want. They are decent as servers out of the box (loud, crap 2mb gfx, no soundcard) and as they have a 16x pci express slot can be decent home pcs with a little work. (new fans, dvdrw, sound card, video card and for pure silence a new psu).

However, if it was a home pc i was looking for i'd go for a Vostro 200MT if there is a good deal on.
