I am looking to widen my DVD collection somewhat and so am looking for some oldies and got thinking of Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin. Both fairly acclaimed as movie bas-asses but I don't think I have seen any films by either so am looking for a good place to Start. The Dirty Dozen looks good, and has both of them. Death Wish is what made Charlie is famous so I suppose that would be good too, but what stands out for both of them, what would you suggest?

You could pair the two in Death Hunt but I don't think its much cop.

Hell in the Pacific and Point Blank both for John Boorman are worth checking out also The Professionals and The Big Red One.

Bronson made so many poor flicks as a star - but Mr Majestyk and Breakout are pretty good.

    Mike.

    Mr Majestik is good fun
After Death Wish Bronson got pretty much type cast(the 4 or 5 sequels didnt help. How unlucky was Paul Kersey :D) as the wronged man getting revenge but he was actually a pretty good actor with a great screen presence.
