Hi, just a question sombody out there might be able to answer...

If a childs mother, who is the sole custodian, goes away on holidays and leaves the child with her mother and father without telling the father of the child, would the father of the child (who has been appointed a joint guardian and granted set access by the court) be entited to go and remove the child from the care of the grandparents? Untill such time as the mother returns?

Just a question nobody is thinking of doing anything drastic dont worry:D

    Nope.

In the scenario you pose, Mom has gone on holiday and provided adequate care for the child(ren); there is no justification for removing them from that care. Father is still entitled to his normal access.

    Thanks for the reply,

That makes sense once the fathers access isnt disrupted...

It's also best for all parties to keep things as friendly and kind as possible. People get angry, but do try not to when kids are involved. Keep in good faith with the other person...
